Norrköping Communicative Visual Analytics (NComVa) is a spin-off company from the Norrköping Visualization Centre (NVCA) at Linkoping University, Sweden. NComVa is part of the Norrkoping Science Park and provides statistics visualization software. NComVa provide geovisual and visual analytics technology into industry and government agencies.
Collaborative and Communicative Geovisual Analytics for WikiProgress
NComVa is involved in WikiProgress as an associated partner to OECD, with an assigned objective to supply state-of-the-art Geovisual Analytics Web tools that explore statistics data and transform gained knowledge into public information.
The visualization application OECD eXplorer, a joined OECD and NComVa research project, has demonstrated and validated that geovisual analytics could represent a fundamental tool in developing knowledge, thus making better evidence based decisions possible.
NComVa developed "Vislets” – 100% web compliant dynamic visualization objects that are embeddable into any HTML ie WIKI-articles. See example: OECD Factbook 2010
