The Worldbank's indicators are compiled from aggregate and individual governance indicators for 212 countries and territories over the period 1996–2008. The Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI) include six dimensions of governance:
- Control of Corruption
- Government Effectiveness
- Politcal Stability and Absence of Violence/Terrorism
- Regulatory Quality
- Rule of Law
- Voice and Accountability
