Other info 1The International Data Service (ESDS International) is hosted by Mimas at the University of Manchester. It is part of the wider Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS); a national data service that came into operation in January 2003. It is a jointly funded initiative sponsored by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC).
The service provides access to, and support for, a range of international datasets - both macro and micro sources. It promotes and facilitates increased and more effective use of international datasets in research, learning and teaching across a range of disciplines.
