About
The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index is the first daily assessment of Americans' health and wellbeing. The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index project expanded in 2011 to provide leaders in the United Kingdom and Germany with timely, comprehensive data about their residents' wellbeing. By interviewing no fewer than 1,000 U.S. adults every day and 1,000 adults in the U.K. and Germany every month, the Well-Being Index provides real-time measurement and insights into improving residents' health, increasing human capital, and lowering healthcare costs. Public and private-sector leaders use information from the Well-Being Index to develop and prioritize strategies to help their communities thrive and grow. Journalists, academics, and medical experts benefit from an unprecedented resource of health statistics and behavioral economic data to inform their research and reporting.
