OECD governments recognise that “Smart” ICT applications are a cornerstone of Green Growth agendas for sectors such as utilities, transport, buildings. On 29 September 2010, the OECD is holding a Forum in Paris to gain "foresight" on environmental opportunities, existing barriers and some potential risks to the wider roll-out of smart infrastructures. Sessions will focus on smart technologies, smart life-styles and electric mobility. The Forum will conclude with a discussion of policies that can exploit the potential of ICTs to contribute to a greener global economic recovery. More information
