You are very welcome to come to the next meeting hosted by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Wellbeing Economics. The speakers will discuss why Costa Rica scored well across all three component measures used to calculate nef’s Happy Planet Index (HPI): life expectancy, experienced well-being and Ecological Footprint. They will then discuss the lessons we can learn from this in terms of sustainable development paths. This meeting will feature short presentations from the speakers followed by a discussion.

Juliet Michaelson: Senior Researcher at the Centre for Well-being at nef (the new economics foundation), and co-author of The Happy Planet Index: 2012 Report.
