The Research Committee on Sociology of Childhood, International Sociological Association, calls for session proposals on the topic: Children´s Voices, Well-Being and Social Justice.

We invite proposals for sessions that provide a platform for international and interactive discussions reflecting the most exciting work in the sociology of childhood and that address such relevant and timely concerns as:

Other topics that address more broadly the major topic of Children´s Voices, Well-Being and Social Justice or that relate to the sub-topics above are encouraged and will be reviewed for inclusion on the program. We are also open to other topics that our Research Committee  typically addresses, such as children’s identity, social construction of childhood, and social structure.

Research committee on Sociology of Childhood (RC53) will consider proposals for sessions in Spanish addressing the above themes. However, note that the number reserved for sessions in Spanish is limited to two sessions.
