The conference for economists in policy and academia is the second in a series started in Oxford in 2009 to commemorate Amartya Sen's 75th Birthday and attended by nearly 150 economists from around the world. The conference will comprise a policy forum lasting two days and research tracks lasting up to four days. Presentations will focus on new statistics, policies and theories related to all aspects of the economics of human welfare (eg health, development, social policy, environment and economic theory (eg decision theory, social choice, public economics and behavioural economics).
