About the Conference

The Australian Institute of Business WellBeing (AIBWB), a new research centre within the Sydney Business School, is proud to be organising the 3rd Australian Positive Psychology and WellBeing Conference in March 2012.

This conference will be unique because it will bring together delegates who share a common interest in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing and challenge them to think about their relevance and application across diverse sectors of society: government, business, education and health. The conference is designed to appeal to academics, practitioners, researchers, writers, and leaders in all of these sectors.
The theme of the conference is ‘Spotlight on the Future’. ‘Spotlight on the Future’ reflects the emerging nature of the subject matter that will be explored in the workshops, keynote presentations and other conference activities. The Conference is designed to share knowledge that can be used to construct solutions to a diverse range of societal concerns and to explore how the study of positive psychology and wellbeing may be best utilised to support positive change.

Event Organisers The Australian Institute of Business Wellbeing (AIBWB) is a new research and development unit at the University of Wollongong’s Sydney Business School. This interdisciplinary unit is led by Dr Lindsay Oades and AIBWB’s current focus is to examine the relationship between employee wellbeing and organisational performance. The AIBWB team blend academic excellence and organisational experience to offer a comprehensive range of education, training and consulting services.
