Bruno Kessler Foundation is situated in Trentino (Northern Italy) and incorporates over 350 researchers in the areas of Information Technology, Materials and Microsystems, Italo-Germanic studies, and Religious sciences. The close network of alliances and collaborations enables the foundation to contribute to other research areas as theoretical nuclear physics, networking and telecommunications, as well as social sciences (studies of public policy effectiveness).
The objectives of the foundation are to:
- Conduct research that obtains recognition at an international level
- Carry out applied research of strategic importance to the province
- Publicize scientific results and promote economic development
- Encourage innovation throughout the province[1]
