Biography
Angela Costrini Hariche is the Project Manager of Wikigender and Wikiprogress initiated by the OECD-hosted Global Project on Measuring the Progress of Societies.
The main aim of Wikiprogress is to become a global platform for the assessment of societal progress by harnessing knowledge from a centralized web based community who are seeking out fresh social, environmental and economic measures of progress. Networks include gender equality (wikigender and Wikigender University), child well-being (wikichild) and the Global Progress Research Network)
She is also an OECD Development Centre researcher for the 2011 publication, Perspectives on Global Development: Social Cohesion. Her responsibilities include conceptualising, managing and providing leadership in areas of civic participation and social networks.
Prior to joining the OECD, she worked with the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations based Monrovia, Liberia in the field of communications and information technology.

- Angela talks about happiness, the gap between official statistics and people's perceptions of their living conditions, and the OECD's efforts to measure subjective wellbeing.
