Abstract
This paper has been prepared for the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy(NRTEE)’s Environment and Sustainable Development Indicators (ESDI) Initiative.1,2The authors were asked to provide a conceptual framework for the establishment ofsustainable development indicators centred on the concept ofcapital and focused on the economy as the object of sustainability.
