The big news for July at Wikiprogress was the integration of Wikichild into our progress content. Our research indicated a real need for a central knowledge-sharing platform for the child well-being community. To begin to meet this need we've created the Child well-being portal.
The new portal aims to give an overview of work on the measurement of child well-being globally and we've started by offering information on initiatives, events, newsletters and media content in this area. The portal relies on the worldwide community of researchers and other interested public to contribute their content and help share knowledge on the platform. We look forward to your feedback and contributions and to seeing this platform grow for the benefit of all.

In a resolution adopted without a vote, the Assembly invited countries “to pursue the elaboration of additional measures that better capture the importance of the pursuit of happiness and well-being in development with a view to guiding their public policies.”
